When they say e.g. protonmail or tutanota are the safest email I don't agree. It all depends on threat model, most people could have more trouble by receiving a phishing email than to be able to send encrypted mail and (got no source but I feel confident to say) gmail and outlook should have better spam filter. That comes at the cost of privacy. Is it worth? I don't know. But security is not just encrypting stuff #infosec
