I don't believe in conspiracy theories since a long time ago, they simply aren't as extreme and far fetched as reality.

is an oxymoron (if you use )

@dixongexpat Why do you think so?

Were you depressed when Snowden finally came up with the documents showing that what we, IT/security professionals, suspected was real or that somebody else found the proof that car manufacturers were cheating or that Monsanto isn't the great nice company trying to feed the world as they want us to believe?

We could infer all that but it's good to have documents proving it as now change can happen.

@paolo It is just further proof that everything is pwned by some nefarious group or other. NSA, CIA, hackers - patches always lag and are probably not effective.

Snowden's data got sucked into a billionaire black hole. Also depressing.

The key phrase is "now change can happen" - but can it really? Will it? I am extremely skeptical...

@dixongexpat The big lesson is that "we" are the change.

Snowden, Dieselgate, Vault7 only happened because individuals have seen that things were wrong and decided to leak the info to send out a wake up calls to other individuals.

I'm doing my part to change things & finding lots of people doing their part. "We" don't expect for the system to change, we are the change... we are legion... sorry got carried away a bit ;-)

@paolo I am doing some things as well, but I fear the end result will be a complete abandoning of technology and living in a cave!

@dixongexpat Why? Is so much fun seeing things changing, marketing hype coming and going and people/industries/governments getting pwned.

Don't go in a cave yet but start learning how to grow and kill your own food ;-)
